The sack mixer Speedy SD: mixing without wiping

Mixing without loss of space – that is one strength of the MIXACO Speedy SD. Because there is no dead space in the round container. During the entire work process – from filling to mixing to transport and emptying - the mixing material remains in the sack.

And the sack mixer demonstrates its other strength during emptying: Sack and mixer do not have to be cleaned, because the mixing material is not transferred, but rather transported to and from mixing in the sack – a clean and time-saving idea!

Even liquids can be mixed. The MIXACO Speedy SD 50-100 was developed especially for this purpose!

Function

A MIXACO-mixing sack filled with raw materials is secured in the double-walled sack receiver by means of a vacuum. The mixing tools that are tailored to the respective mixing task are lowered into the raw materials. Intensive mixing takes place in the mixing sack. A standardized mixing barrel can also be used in place of the mixing sack.

After mixing is complete, the mixing tool is lifted to the basic position again and the mixing sack is removed from the mixer. The mixing material is weighed, mixed, transported, and stored in the sack.

Applications

The Speedy SD is particularly well-suited for the following applications:

  • Master batch (PE, PP, PA, PVC, ABS, TPE, EPS…)
  • Powder coating
  • Toner
  • Additives

The new Speedy SD 50-100 combines the proven advantages of the MIXACO Speedy SD with a useful application expansion: in addition to dry materials, the Speedy SD 50-100 also mixes liquids!
The liquid mixing material is filled into standard 60 and 120 liter HDPE-barrels for this and the MIXACO universal mixing tool is replaced by one or more dissolver discs.
